Here's the short list of dos and don'ts for wedding day photography.
Try to avoid jewelry that is small, flat or reflective. Don't try a new hairstyle right before the big day. At least two weeks before the ceremony, schedule a "dry run" with your hairdresser. Consider taking a bag stocked with beauty essentials along for a last-minute fixups. Use matte makeup. Shiny makeup will reflect in photos. Drink lots of water. Avoid sunburn and gets lots of sleep before the big day. This will improve your skin tone. Study your face in a mirror. Does one side look better? Usually, holding your face at a slight angle is more becoming. When posing, turn your shoulders toward the camera or at a three-quarter angle, and turn your hips at a right angle to the camera. Think happy thoughts!
