What's Your Music Style?

Unsure about whether to hire a DJ or a jazz ensemble? Take our short and sweet music quiz to find out which kind of wedding entertainment best expresses your musical style!
Unsure about whether to hire a DJ or a jazz ensemble? Take our short and sweet music quiz to find out which kind of wedding entertainment best expresses your musical style!
The radio station we play most often is:

Jammin' Oldies
Country
Modern Rock
Jazz

If we go out dancing, our favorite club is:
the '70's disco throwback
the two-step bar
the hardest club in town to get into
the Cotton Club

Our favorite weddings have been the ones where:
everyone got on the floor and boogied 'til the cows came home
all the guests wore cowboy boots
you couldn't hear the person dancing next to you
grandma and grandpa loved the music more than the young cousins
At the last wedding we attended, we:
jumped to the dance floor when we heard the first few notes of "Shout"
hooted and hollered when they played "I've Got Friends in Low Places"
danced until the reception ended and then went to another club afterwards
Waltzed to Old Blue Eyes, and called it a night early
Our CD collection mostly consists of:
'50's & 60's classics
Patsy Cline and Merle Haggard
Oasis and Aerosmith
Miles Davis and Dean Martin
Most of our friends and family:
miss the good old days of music
are influenced by country music
are young at heart and love to party
are older and love classic music
So, are you disco lights or a live horn section? Let's add up your score and find out.
Mostly "A"s:
You're a disc jockey's dream. Your love for the oldies and the classic rockin' wedding tunes such as "Shout" makes you a perfect candidate for the kinds of music DJs have in abundance.
Mostly "B"s:
Sounds like you might want to have your reception in a honkey-tonk. If you can't find a band that will play an all-night hoe down for you, than you need to hire a DJ with a wide range of country tunes so your guests can boot-scoot to their heart's content.
Mostly "C"s:
If the Boss isn't available for your wedding date, then maybe you can find a rockin' alternative in your hometown. You would benefit from the pulse-driving jams of a live rock band. Just make sure your Aunt Hilda won't fall on the floor from partying too hard.
Mostly "D"s:
A live jazz ensemble is the only way for you to go. You and your family and friends would benefit most from the smooth and easy tunes of a jazz or swing band that will play classics and standards all night long.
